I have been using my iPhone for nearly 2 years now, and an iPad since it was first released and only now I am discovering that you can get an unread mail folder in iOs. This feature has only come about after stumbling across it earlier in the week, and is new to iOS 7. It’s a feature I love in my desktop email app Postbox, and now I can get it on my iPhone and iPad. Here’s how:
- Go to the first mail screen in the iOS Mail app. You should see a list of all of the email accounts on your phone there.
- Click Edit in the top right.
- Tick the box option for unread.
- Click done.
And there you have it, how to view only unread emails on your iPhone. If you found this helpful consider sharing it with others. It’s a very unknown feature that many will appreciate.
