iOS 7 is here, and with it comes a new look, new features and new sounds. I have already shown how we can disable the battery-draining parallax effect, and now I am going to show you how to change some of the sounds. The new default ringtone in my opinion isn’t that good. I much rather prefer the origional ringtone. Thankfully there is a very simple and easy way to get the classic ringtones in iOS 7. Its free, and built right into iOS 7. Here’s how.

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Go to sounds.
  3. Select ringtone.
  4. Scroll about a third of the way to the bottom and tab Classics. Its just above the “Alert Tones” section.
  5. You now have all the classic ringtones available to choose from. The classic default was called Marimba.
